I also own the other jacket similar to this but with the faux fur instead and although it’s nice as well, this one is worth the extra money. I know sheepskin jackets can vary in quality depending on the material at hand, the faux one I got was a lot lighter in weight and thinner overall including the leather, but it still looks good and is warm. This one however is nicer in all aspects. It’s closer to a genuine B-3. it’s heavier. I prefer the real shearling on it, it’s thicker and feels warmer than the faux one. The skeepskin leather seems more plush and durable on this one as well and may even take a little bit to loosen up which is exactly what you want in a bomber jacket. It looks surprisingly close to the pictures which I believe are based off of the 1500 dollar Schott NYC 257S B-3 Bomber Jacket. For a fraction of the price I think it’s a great deal for an alternative. I picked up one for 350, I think it might’ve been on sale, and then I see the price jumped 500. If that’s the standard price now I still think it’s worth it, just keep an eye out for sales. The only complaint I have about this jacket is a few minor imperfections here and there but not anything that’s really noticeable or worth mentioning so I’m not even going to take a star off or go into detail.

This is a well-made jacket, no doubt. The leather feels premium, and the shearling lining is super warm. However, it’s quite heavy, which might not be ideal for everyone, but for me it’s perfect.

I own a real Schott B-3, and this replica is pretty much identical. The shearling is soft and warm, and the leather welted seams are a nice touch. The only minor issue is the belt on the collar—it’s a bit stiff at first, but it softens with use.
